It is well known in the playing card world that the original KEM poker playing cards were also produced from Acetate, but when KEM was brought out by the USPCC they changed the material to 100% Cellulose Acetate.  This has, in some peoples eyes lowered the quality and uniqueness that KEM had held for so many years.  So it is with great pleasure that we can now bring you a card that really is challenging KEM for the worlds best playing card and of course available from Squirrel Pokers UK stock.

Acetate is considered by most experts involved in the science of playing cards as the perfect material for building better playing cards. Acetate based playing cards will have more snap, shape retention, texture and in general will be more durable than their PVC counterparts.

Thicker and heavier than any other 100% plastic playing card on the market today, Modiano cards are also beautifully textured and a delight to shuffle. Card distribution is particularly sweet while pitching, as they tend not to slide off the table or flip over on route.

The thicker and heavier grade plastic also enables a Modiano card to retain its character and shape better than other 100% plastic playing cards.
